TUR B727-200
TC-TCA
by servet cingör

Charter carriers in Turkey are very short-lived. TUR was one of them, founded (formed by Belgium's TEA) in Istanbul as "Tur Avrupa Hava yollari" (Tur European Airways ) in 1987. The Airline operated charter flights between Turkey and Europe (especially Germany). The Airline went bankrupt in 1994 and hasn't come to existence since then.
In the late eighties were the second-hand B727s (especially -200 series) very popular for the low-cost Airlines in Turkey. Tur was the second Airline in Turkey to introduce the B727-100.

Colour scheme: great similarity to Boeing home colours.
